Oak Island – Research Reading

Season 10 of The Curse of Oak Island is over and it is time to look forward to the next season.

During the off season I plan on doing some research reading.

Oak Island, Research Reading, Vatican, Secret ArchivesI will share a few of the books that I have read or plan to read before the next season of The Curse of Oak Island.

I will not go into much detail on the books, but will mention why they are on my research reading list.

The Secret Archives of the Vatican by Maria Luisa Ambrosini with Mary Willis follows the History of the Vatican archives. Since the Oak Island team has talked about doing some research there, I wanted to know more about what may be available for them to find.

Gods Gold, Sean Kingsley, Temple TreasureSince they often talk about the treasures from the Temple I decided that God’s Gold: The Quest for the Lost Temples of Jerusalem by Sean Kingsley must be on the list. I have read it before, but it has been quite some time ago.

Oak Island, templars, books, research readingThe Templars: The Dramatic History of the Knights Templar, the Most Powerful Military Order of the Crusades by Piers Paul Read is another book on the list. With all the talk in the past season about Templars I want to refresh my knowledge of the Templars.

Oak Island, templars, books, Freemasonry, research readingBorn in Blood: The Lost Secrets of Freemasonry by John J. Robinson is also on my list. There has also been a lot of talk from the beginning of the show about Freemasonry and the ties to the Templars. I have read part of this book and it talks about both groups and what ties there were between them.

I have many more books on my list that are both non-fiction and fiction. I will share more of them in future Tuesday posts.
