Wednesday Image Search – Yar

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last week I searched for ‘war.’ This week I will proceed to ‘yar’ as there are no results for ‘xar’.

What images will I find?

Tel Afeq, Antipatris, Paul, Fortress, CardoThe first image comes from Yarkon National Park in Israel. It is located next to Tel Afeq which is ancient Antipatris. You can find in the Bible why Paul was at this place. Paul would most likely have traveled down this road as he approached Antipatris.

Colorful Vinyard, Livermore Hills, December color, Scenic LivermoreThe next image is one of the only food related images that I could find. Here is a vineyard in California.

Backyard rainbow, sprinklers, spring yard workHere we have a backyard rainbow.  If the sun is just right you get rainbows from the sprinklers.

Frankfurt train yard, trains, train travelHere we have a train yard in Frankfurt, Germany. I have gone through this area many times during my trips to Germany.

Rudyard Kipling, Sydney Writers Walk, Literature, Something of MyselfFinally we have plaque for Rudyard Kipling on the Sydney Writers Walk. How many of his books have you read?

There were quite a few ‘yar’ pictures to choose from. I hope you enjoyed my selections. I could have chosen multiple pictures about my front and back yards.

Which is your favorite of these ‘yar’ pictures?

What should I search for next?  Since I am following a series with ‘?ar’  the next one will probably be ‘zar’ as I do have a few to choose from.
