Last week I was given some home grown peaches. Of course, I knew how I was going to eat them.
I forgot to take pictures of the peaches when they were whole, but luckily I have other pictures of peaches growing on a tree.
The peaches were not as large as this beauty.
The first step was to cut open the peaches and remove the stone.
Then I sliced them up and sprinkled a little sugar on top of them.
I then stirred them up a bit and let them rest and absorb the sugar.
A wonderful afternoon snack of delicious peaches.

I have been getting peaches and pears locally grown and they are wonderful.
