I am not much of a morning person so do not often see sunrises.
However, on my recent trip to Israel I saw the sunrise most every day. Especially since we got on the bus at 4:30 each morning.
Since I am very tired this evening I will share a few sunrise pictures.
This was often the view as we toiled up the hill to the dig site each day.
From the dig we could look out over the Lachish Valley and see the sun come up over the Judean Hills.
By this time we are usually hard at work, but sometimes you just have to take a moment and snap some pictures.
Here the sun is a bit higher and starts lighting up the site.
This looks more like a sunset, but way too early 🙂
