Here I am on Saturday night with no good idea for a blog post, so here are a few of my wandering thoughts.
I will start with a picture that I took in Antarctica. A couple days ago I found out that one of my Facebook friends, who was on the same cruise, is about to visit there again. She is in Buenos Aires and will be sailing tomorrow for the Falkland Islands. It has me thinking about the wonderful trip that I took with my sister. I may just have to think of going there again.
Hmm, yesterday was National Popcorn Day. I am still having popcorn memories tonight.
Yesterday I found another Penguin Popular Classics that I didn’t have in my collection. This imprint is from England and I don’t run across them very often as they are now out of print.
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne is the 70th title in my collection.
I now have four shelves full of Penguin Popular Classics. I really like the way they look on the shelf.
Thinking of penguins, here is a waddle of penguins in the Falkland Islands. I took the picture on my cruise to Antarctica. Hmm, my memories are going in circles.
Early this week a colleague of mine asked me some travel questions about a trip he is taking to Tokyo and I got me thinking about one of my favorite places to eat when I visit there. I need to get back to Tokyo and eat at The Curry House.
I have also been thinking about the Chinese New Year which is a little less than a month away. I have been getting a lot of visits to my Chinese New Year Decorations post. I also saw a display of Chinese New Year items at World Market earlier today.
This is now making me think of Chinese Food and I am getting hungry. So, I will stop writing and get this posted so I can have a quick snack before bed 🙂
