It is late on Saturday night and I am again blog blocked. I have lots of thoughts wandering through my head, but nothing that I am really ready to write about.
I just thought of a post I wrote long ago about A Little Blogkeeping. It was interesting to think of how few posts I had written at that time, but how I needed some blogkeeping.
This is what the blog page menu looked like at that time.
The menu is a little larger now with additional pages for Grandma’s Scrapbooks, Holidays, Home Pride Bread, Walls of Jericho, Turkey and Old-Time Photography.
I have also added a few more headers for the blog page. They are set to randomly appear as you go from page to page in the blog. I of course know where each of these pictures were taken, but do any of you?
Today I also updated my Popular Posts page. In my blogkeeping post from four years ago I mentioned that Amish in California? was still in the top five posts. As you can see here, it is still there. In fact, four of the top five posts were written in 2012.
The top post, Walls of Jericho, is about to hit a milestone. I may just write a post about it when the time comes. I can also tell that it is Saturday night as I always get visits to the post then. I assume that it is Bible class teachers looking for images.
The Popular Posts page also has a section for the least visited posts.
It is always interesting to see which posts land here. Some I can understand like the year in review posts, but I would think that posts on Hula Hoop Mania and Arbor Day would not be overlooked π
Actually, this post is probably a good candidate for inclusion in the least visited section. Posts like this one are not too popular. But, sometimes I just have to write them π
Hmm, maybe I need to write another post about the Amish if I want a lot of visits.
