Key Lime Yoghurt

My favorite yoghurt brand is Noosa. I discovered Noosa while looking for a replacement for a yogurt flavor that had disappeared after I had bought it for years.

I really like that Noosa has some interesting flavors. It helped that it had one of my favorite flavor combinations – Strawberry Rhubarb.

They also come out with new flavors now and then. Some of them are limited batches or seasonal, but some join their regular offerings.

Key Lime Yoghurt, Noosa Yoghurt, Yoghurt Flavors, Tart FlavorsWhen I got back from China last week I found that my grocery store had two new flavors. One of them was key lime. I really like the tart taste of key lime so was eager to try it out.

Noosa Yoghurt, Flavors, Key lime, Australian Yoghurt, CowsNoosa is from Colorado, but uses a recipe that came from Australia. They have some interesting foil seals on their yoghurt containers. I like the cow in this one.

If you look at the lid in the first picture you will see that they state that their yoghurt is “from happy cows that are never treated with rBGH.” Plus all natural ingredients. It should be healthy 🙂

Yoghurt, Key Lime, Tart Taste, Noosa, Yogurt flavorsHere is a picture of the yoghurt. You can see the key lime  under a generous layer of plain yoghurt. This is how all of them are packed. The flavored part of the yoghurt is usually about 20% of the volume. For some flavors I eat the flavored part straight, and for others I mix it with the plain yoghurt.

The key lime was really good, but tart enough that I had to temper it with the plain yogurt.

I will definitely be buying more of this flavor.

Cranberry Apple Yoghurt, Limited Batch, Yogurt Flavors, NoosaCranberry apple is another of my favorite flavors. It has nice little chunks of apple for some good texture. I like this flavor combination and I usually will ask for cranberry apple juice on my long flights around the world.

See my post Yoghurt Flavors.

Pumpking Yoghurt, Yogurt, Noosa Yoghurt, Thanksgiving YoghurtPumpkin is another flavor I like. It usually is only available in the fall leading up to Thanksgiving, but they still had some at Target when I was there on Saturday. Pumpkin was of course included in my weekly selection of flavors.

Now if they will only come up with a Banana Creme.

Do you have a favorite flavor of yoghurt or yogurt?

Steven
