Yesterday I shared some pictures from A Walk at Work. Tonight I will start the post off with one more of my favorite pictures from the walk.
I really need to take another walk tomorrow. I need more exercise after all the food I had for lunch today.
I work with people from many different cultures, and today we had an International Potluck.
This is plate one of two. This one is mostly Filipino and Chinese food.
The largest spread of food came from our employees from the Philippines. They even had lechón which is roasted suckling pig. I loved the presentation as they had a whole pig on the table. The lechón is in the middle left of the plate in the picture above.
The second plate had mainly Indian, American and English food.
I really like Indian food, especially Butter Chicken. You can also see Shepherds Pie from England and some cornbread from America on the plate. There are also some Chinese noodles underneath everything.
How did I end up with so much food on my plates? When you have colleagues who are wanting you to try food from their homeland it is hard to say no when they are loading up your plate. I did avoid the Haggis table so I wouldn’t have to say no 🙂
Then it was hard to leave anything on the plate. It was really good food.
Do you recognize any of the foods above?
What would you take to an International Potluck to share with your friends or colleagues?
