Wild Turkeys

Only a quick post today as I am recovering from a great Thanksgiving meal. We are also getting ready to finish watching To Kill A Mockingbird.

On my last trip up here to Groveland I was able to get a few pictures of a flock of wild turkeys.

There is a total of 13 birds in the flock, and my friends had been watching them since the chicks were small. Every night they trail across their property on their way to the trees that they roost in.

I took the pictures with close to maximum zoom so they don’t have the best detail. If you want to see wild turkey close-ups, you can check out some of my posts from earlier in the month.

I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving feast today, and more importantly had a great day of remembering your blessings and giving thanks for them.

Please be safe on Black Friday. Watch out for the rabid shoppers.

Steven

You could have just drove home with supper on your roof. ha

That’s an interesting property, huge trees and no underbrush. Do they keep goats?
