Just a quick post tonight before I settle in to watch the election returns.

Donkey
I took this picture of a donkey on the Mount of Olives while in Jerusalem in September. I really like the colors of the shawl that is draped across the back of the donkey.
Or Elephant?
This picture was taken at the Toronto Zoo earlier this year. I love the weathered look of the Elephant’s skin and the big floppy ears.

No elephant victory this time for President. But, the elephant won in my congressional district.
Even though that elephants Canadian, I’d have to go with the Donkey.
There is a little irony in the fact that it is an Israeli donkey.
I guess that went over my head….I not very good at this joke thing am I?
The relationship between our President and Israel is a bit rocky.
OK….yes, well I guess that’s why poor Hillary looks so ragged these days..that lady needs a vacation. Foreign Affairs is a delicate matter in that part of the world isn’t it?
